The technical department is made up of:
- 1 agent holder of SSIAP1 (Level 1 Fire Safety and Personal Assistance Service)
- 1 general building maintenance agent
This one above all takes care of the safety of all. The service is also responsible for the maintenance and monitoring of the proper functioning of all technical installations, not to mention basic instructions to personnel in the field of fire safety.
Composed of two people, all are versatile. So they go intervene both on repainting or other work, as well as on small or large repairs or installation of new equipment.
Their field of intervention is therefore more than vast and varied.
In addition, it is within the framework of the technical service that the monitoring of technical and safety controls for all installations is coordinated, as well as the preparation of safety committees.
All this coordination is part of the missions of the technical service, which obviously works in conjunction with management.
ERP type "J" means, Establishment Receiving from Audience, type J designating structures for the elderly. This classification implies a building meeting particularly stringent safety standards in order to allow, in the event of fire or natural disaster, the safety and evacuation of residents, under the best conditions. For example, a “J” type structure must: respect a maximum distance between the accommodation and the emergency stairs, sector the circulation through fire doors, install mechanical smoke extraction devices in each sector, a fire alarm in all the apartments , increase the width of the corridors and the fire resistance of the materials, or even install a generator to maintain the lighting of the passages and the operation of the lifts in the event of a power cut, etc.
